"You are welcome, Inu-Yasha." Kikyo whispered. However, she did not know if he heard her.
Inu-Yasha looked at Kikyo. Kikyo looked back at him. The river was straight and because it was not bent Inu-Yasha did not have to look at the river to row. However, Inu-Yasha was glaring at her. She did not know why Inu-Yasha was glaring at her, but it made her uncomfortable. Was Inu-Yasha angry with her?
Kikyo looked back at the river and sighed. He did not seem angry with her earlier. However, he seemed angry now. She did not want him to be angry. She wanted him to be happy. She looked back at Inu-Yasha and looked into his eyes. She did not see anger in his eyes.
Kikyo realised that Inu-Yasha was not glaring at her due to anger, but to question how she felt now. She felt relieved. She released her breath with a laugh and smiled at him. She hoped that her smile would answer his question. She did not know how else to answer. Words were not descriptive enough.
The sun was setting now. Inu-Yasha looked back at the river. However, Kikyo knew that he looked over his shoulder to look at her when he thought she wasn't looking at him. She thought that Inu-Yasha hadn't changed at all. Inu-Yasha was the same man she had loved 50 years ago.
However, he seemed kinder than she remembered. Inu-Yasha had not been kind when she met him 50 years ago. Inu-Yasha stopped the boat at a dock. The sun was setting now and it was becoming too dark to ride the boat. Inu-Yasha extended his hand to her, and Kikyo examined his hand before and after she took it.
When Kikyo's hand was in Inu-Yasha's hand, Kikyo realised that Inu-Yasha's hand was calloused due to constant battle. His hand was large and so were his knuckles due to how he cracked his knuckles before a battle. Her small hand fit in his large hand and Kikyo realised that his hand was warm.
Kikyo liked how his hand was warm. Kikyo was cold, whether it were summer or winter. She did not like to be cold. She liked to be warm. Inu-Yasha helped her onto the dock and Kikyo took a step forward on the dock to embrace Inu-Yasha. When she embraced Inu-Yasha she put her head against his warm chest.
She could hear his heart. Kikyo wanted that heart. However, she did not have a heart to exchange his heart for. When she had been resurrected, she had been resurrected without a heart. She had been given a mind to think, lungs to speak, but she had not been given a heart.
The thought brought tears to her eyes. However, she would not let those tears fall. She wanted to be happy. She was going to be happy. She looked up at Inu-Yasha, and his white hair was orange in the light of the setting sun. She put a cold hand against his warm cheek.
The wind blew then and blew the white ribbon from her hair. Kikyo looked at the ribbon and reached her arm out after it but the wind blew into the river. She shook her head and her long black hair shook with her. "Do not mind it." She told Inu-Yasha. She did not want Inu-Yasha to go after the ribbon. She wanted Inu-Yasha to stay with her.
"Inu-Yasha..." Kikyo whispered, the sun was setting. "The sun is setting. It will be night soon. What do you intend to do when night comes?" Kikyo stood on her toes again to kiss him, but did not kiss him on his lips. Kikyo kissed Inu-Yasha on the corner of his mouth.
Her cold hand was warm now with his heat. She moved it from his cheek to his neck where it rested before she moved it onto his shoulder. She had pulled the corner of his shirt down to reveal his shoulder. Kikyo reached and kissed his shoulder. However, before she could continue the sun set.
When the sun set the sky was dark. In the dark sky no light could be seen but the light of stars. The stars were out but the moon was nowhere to be seen. It was the night of the new moon. However, Kikyo thought nothing of the night of the new moon because she had never known Inu-Yasha's secret.

The wind suddenly became calmer as the sun began to set. It was already night though the boy would stop ramming and land on a corner. There he would gather some wood and prepare a small fire to isolate themselves... After all , the autumn nights were cold... The boy'd just wonder if his friends back at the village is worrying about him though no time to think... Right now Kikyo was in front of him and he will spent what ever time is needed with her. She is so beautiful... Inu Yasha just cant stop starring at her as his face begins to turn a little bit red on the side cheeks within minutes. She was more divine by the second ... This light emitting from her...
''Kikyo...''
As her ribbon passes by, Kikyo would lend a kiss upon the boy's mouth corner making him to blush even more. With the date of the new moon passing by itself , Inu Yasha's boy would suddenly feel weaker as he almost falls but not entirely grabbing Kikyo tightly as balance. There...Within Seconds the boy's silver white hair would turn into that of a black color as the ears upon his head disappears. Fading away like thin air , it would seem like that the boy has taken on a more human appearance... In fact , he is a human right now! Sworn that he would never tell this weakness to anyone , he'd show this to Kikyo today... Not because he didn't notice but because he actually trusts her and love her...
There a long and prolonged silence would set itself upon the field as the boy stares deeply into Kikyo's eyes. Can she accept him as he is right now? ... IS she surprised?..How wills she react?

Kikyo would have continued, but when the sun set the hanyou aura Inu-Yasha had changed to a human aura. Kikyo looked at him in surprise. Inu-Yasha almost fell and Kikyo shouted in surprise when Inu-Yasha took her shoulders to prevent his fall. However, the man holding onto her shoulders was not Inu-Yasha.
The man looked at her and Kikyo looked at him. He looked like Inu-Yasha but he had black hair and brown eyes. Kikyo noticed that he also had human ears! Could this man be Inu-Yasha? The man spoke her name in Inu-Yasha's voice. However, his voice was uncertain.
Kikyo shook her head in awe. She took a step back, and then another, but because Kikyo and Inu-Yasha were on a dock the second step Kikyo took caused her to fall over the edge of the dock. Kikyo shouted in fear and fell into the cold water. She came up to the surface soon after she fell, but the river was moving.
Kikyo moved with the river. She coughed because she had inhaled the river water, but she was not frightened. Kikyo summoned her shinidamuchu (soul collectors) to take her to the river shore. The shinidamuchu came and used their bodies to wrap around Kikyo and pull her to land.
Kikyo remained on the land for a moment to catch her breath. She looked to the left and to the right but did not see Inu-Yasha. Or, the human that Inu-Yasha had become. Kikyo was confused about what had happened on the dock. Had she imagined that?
Kikyo remembered that moment and decided that she could not have imagined it. However, realising that it had not been her imagination did not make the truth more apparent to her. Kikyo stood to her feet and trembled. She was wet and the wind was cold, her cold clothes clung to her and made her even more uncomfortable.
She sighed when she realised what a fool she had been. In her surprise she had forgotten that her and Inu-Yasha had been a dock. She wondered what Inu-Yasha, what the human Inu-Yasha was doing now? She determined that Inu-Yasha must be looking for her.
Kikyo had not wanted to upset him. Unfortunately Kikyo had upset him. She held out her hand and a shinidamuchu landed on her hand. She told her shinidamuchu to look for Inu-Yasha and to bring him to her, or return to her and guide her to him. The shinidamuchu began to look for Inu-Yasha.
Kikyo knew that Inu-Yasha could not be far. Although the river had carried Kikyo meters from the dock, meters were not far. Kikyo decided that she would wait here for her shinidamuchu. She trembled again due to the cold. She wanted to remove her wet clothes, but Inu-Yasha was looking for her.
She would wait until Inu-Yasha found her to do something about her wet clothing. She didn't know what she could do, but there was nothing she could do now.

Within the passanges of the marred autumn night.. Would magic be found tonight?... Would love and promising moments?... As the cold and heart calming river flows passes down wave by wave with the gaidence of the crystal moonlight reflecting upon the two sides. A simple delicate touch upon the stars would grant the wish of the ones who desired...
As Kikyo fall into the river by the sudden reaction of surprise, Inu Yasha would fell hatred deep down inside of him toward himself.. Why had to show this to Kikyo... Did he scared her off? ... Did he surprised her? .. In any way , Inu Yasha wasn't going to stand here and think all day. Quickly dashing through the field of plain natures , the youth'd search everywhere for her. River , ground and sand thus at the end , his lower half would be all soaked into water. Finally , after a few minutes of searches he'd come across the heavenly scent of Kikyo... It was just behind a tall wall of grass though should he?... After all he had just scared her off...
''Ki...''
In any case , there wasn't much choices left... Taking a deep breath he would bring himself to cross through this line of tall grass blocking his view as the boy suddenly enters in a deep blushes with his face turning all red. He was too worried of what ever could have happened to her though right now... She is all soaked in water...Her clothes were in someway transparent!... In noway Inuyasha'd ever have such thoughts though right now Kikyo would look more beautiful than ever... Especially in the night... The first reaction of the youth would be to take off his top off made out from the legendary fire rat and attempt to give it to Kikyo for keeping her in warm though... A small trip of mistake would lead into the unbalance of the boy as his body falls completely over Kikyos on the ground. Looking at her in the eyes while being on top , she would be more charming than ever...
Where thousands of stars glazes fiery within the vast dark sky of the cold autumn , shinning and illuminating like fireflies ... Where when the heat of the rolling world cant be turned away. Where fat and destiny as within the tales has already been written and produced itself countless of times...A magical moment would happen for the couple tonight and surely this will a life times occasion...Under the tall grasses within this place of solitude while the sound of the cold river flows resonance reverts into that of the hearers. It would most likely seem that Inu yasha has found his for the rest of his life... His one shinning star within the millions upon the vast sky...
''Kik..Kikyo... I want to be with you.. For ever...''
Upon his words and his finished phrase , saying it like a forever never-ending promise a shooting star would pass by leaving the trails of the unrivaled passages... Diamond like dust yet with crystal obliqueness.. the boy wouldn't miss out a single opportunity to seize the girl's heart as he quickly reaches out to the female's face as he delivers a deep kiss while holding her body still upon the ground plunging his tongue while connecting it with hers.

Kikyo doubted that there was a woman, alive or dead, who had had a moment more romantic than this. Kikyo realised that this human Inu-Yasha could be no one but hanyou Inu-Yasha. Although Kikyo wanted to know how it came to be that hanyou Inu-Yasha became human Inu-Yasha she would wait to ask how.
Inu-Yasha had fallen on top of her. However, Kikyo was comfortable with Inu-Yasha. Kikyo reached in and kissed Inu-Yasha, her wet hands managed to remove his shirt to reveal his white under-shirt. "Inu-Yasha..." Kikyo began, "You know as well as I do that we cannot be together forever...
"However, we can be together... Tonight."
...
Inu-Yasha was exhausted. Kikyo was exhausted too, but in body not in mind. Her mind was active. Kikyo thought about what had caused Inu-Yasha's transformation from a hanyou to a human. Kikyo sat up and took up Inu-Yasha's robe. She used the robe to cover her thin, damp body.
The robe was too short to cover her thighs, but it was enough to cover her breasts and that was what was important to her. Kikyo sat back down beside Inu-Yasha, and ran her fingers through his black hair. "Inu-Yasha?" Kikyo asked, and hoped that he was still awake.
Inu-Yasha was still awake, and Kikyo asked him, when she leaned in closer to ask him in his human ear, "Why are you human now?" She waited for a response. Although Kikyo did not know what to expect, Kikyo could not help but think that Inu-Yasha had become human after the couple had declared their mutual love.

Inuyasha went into a deep blushing state as Kikyo let him take control. This was more than what the boy would ever be expecting to happen... Isn't this just the most romantic moment of all time? Under the night sky of the fallen stars , the couple would be kissing for a few moments as they stop afterwards. Suddenly , a strange question would come upon Kikyo's mind as he asked about his human form. Rather disturbed yet not sure about how he should react , the boy would be fearing that he is still scaring her.
''Wel..Well you see.. All half demons has a certain time or period that they become weak and revert to a human state... Personally for me its on this day at night...Though I'd have no problem telling you this secret!''
Smiling yet in hesitation the boy'd try to see through her reactions. Is she buying his words? Will she actually trust him? In any case , the boy could probably sit here and stare at her all night they weren't talking.. How nostalgic... The quiet sound of the wind breezes and the sweet aroma of the nature...

Inu-Yasha looked at Kikyo with a look that Kikyo thought was fear. Kikyo looked back at Inu-Yasha with a contemplative look. There was not a look of fear. There was not a look of mistrust. There was naught but a contemplative look on her face as he contemplated the phenomenon that was Inu-Yasha.
"All half demons revert to a human state?" Kikyo repeated. Kikyo thought about that and told Inu-Yasha, "Now that I think about it you are half demon. You are also half human. There must be a time when your demon blood is stronger than your human blood and vice versa."
Kikyo sighed and ran her white fingers through her black hair. "I... I wanted to apologise about how I re-acted. I would not have re-acted how I did had I not been surprised. I was not afraid, although you seem to think I was. I was... surprised."
"However, this is not an unpleasant surprise. I love you now as much as I did before you transformed. I am also not worried that you had a problem telling me about this... secret? It is a secret?" Kikyo smiled at Inu-Yasha. "If it is a secret I will keep it. I will keep it with my life."
It was ironic that Kikyo did not doubt the reason Inu-Yasha had not told her his secret earlier. It was ironic because Inu-Yasha had not trusted Kikyo when she was alive with this secret. Although that was true, if Kikyo knew that Inu-Yasha had not trusted her then it would naught but make her happy to know he trusted her now.
"I want to know though, when will you transform back?" Kikyo did not know how long a half demon would maintain a human appearance. She thought that it could depend on the half demon or be a set time. Kikyo decided that she would remain with Inu-Yasha until he became a half demon again. Kikyo had to protect him in his human state.

'' I'll turn back at the beginning of tomorrow when the sun arise , though I want to enjoy this moment with you Kikyo... Never leave me''
Inuyasha's eyes would come in contact with hers once again as his left hand passes through her fine and delicate hair straightly and slowly. It was soft yet a dedicated look came through her eyes. It brought hope and strength though upon a stare even the lost vagabonds would be able to settle in their places. She is indeed a special women that all males would've desired though luckily she was Inuyasha's...
''Do you like me more in my demon form...? I always thought that you wanted me to be a full human so we can live together for ever as normal humans...''
Indeed , the phrase was brought up intentionally as a sign of showing how profound his love was for her... He'd be ready and able to abandon all he has for her at any moment and anywhere... Even it it meant his status, pride and demonic powers... These twisted in ambitions were nothing in the eyes of the youth compared to what is in front of him at the moment...

Kikyo frowned when Inu-Yasha asked her whether or not she liked him more in his human form than in his demon form. "Inu-Yasha..." Kikyo began. Kikyo did not know how to continue for a moment because she was not thinking about how to continue, but how unconfident Inu-Yasha sounded when he asked her that.
"... what I wanted then... doesn't matter now." Kikyo whispered. Inu-Yasha had looked into her eyes and Kikyo had looked into his eyes, but she broke the eye contact and stared at the ground beside the river. The ground was damp with green grass and dandelions. Kikyo bent a stalk of dandelion to avoid looking at Inu-Yasha.
"I told you earlier that, 'I love you now as much as I did before you transformed'. When I told you that I wanted you to be human it was not because I did not love you as a demon. It was because I was human and I wanted you to be human with me." Kikyo smiled, but it was not a happy smile. It was a sad smile.
"I told you that it does not matter now. The reason it does not matter now is because whether you are a demon or a human I am not a demon or a human either. I am an anthroparion." Kikyo bent a second stalk of dandelion. Kikyo did not know whether she did it to avoid looking at Inu-Yasha...
... or because she wanted to break something beautiful, like a dandelion, because she was not beautiful as an anthroparion.
"Inu-Yasha... you became one with me earlier tonight. However, we cannot ever become one again. You told me to never leave you, but I must leave you. I will leave you at dawn when you become a demon again." There was a terrible sadness in her voice. There was also a terrible anger, but not anger at Inu-Yasha.
"If I do not leave then I know that you will not leave. You will not leave because you are in denial. I am not in denial, Inu-Yasha. I cannot give you what you want. You do not realise it but you want a woman who is alive. I cannot do what a woman who is alive can do." Kikyo bit her lip to hold back a sob.
"I am but a ghost. I am a ghost made with bones and earth to haunt you." Kikyo looked at Inu-Yasha and there were tears on her face. "I do not want to haunt you, Inu-Yasha. I want to be with you. However, what I want is impossible. It is as impossible as preventing dawn. When dawn is here, I will leave you... and I hope that when I leave you your dreams for us leave you too..."
Kikyo sobbed and looked at the ground again. Inu-Yasha did not deserve to see her tears or hear her sobs. It would do naught but make this realisation harder for him.
