Yuuki sits upon Cho as he trots towards a shady area off trail. She pets Cho's neck as he bobed up and down in pleasure. She smiles and gets off Cho, leading him to drink, she unhooks the sweat soaked girth and laid his sattle on the ground and patted him down. "Good boy, easy there." She reached into her satchel to pull out an apple, she took a bit out of the juicy fruit and handed it to Cho. Yuuki sat down by the river next to Cho's legs. She looked up at him as her nuzzled her forhead. Her lips curled into a smile, "What are we going to do boy? Lost, forgotten.." Her head would drop and she noticed a small delicate bug approaching her. "Well hello there" Yuuki smiled with a hint a relif, we arn't alone anymore Cho, look, a ladybug." Smiling with joy Yuuki picked up the small creature and placed it on Cho's shoulder.

Kikyo had been walking on the trail. She was travelling again. She didn't know where she was travelling to, but she hoped that where ever the trail took her was somewhere worth travelling to. The trail she was on was connected to every trail in the country. "Most people who walk a trail once or twice do not realise that." Kikyo thought.
Kikyo did not leave the trail often. It was dangerous to leave the trail, even for her. Kikyo was a powerful priestess, perhaps the most powerful priestess in Japan at the moment. Midoriko had been stronger than her, but she was dead. Kagome had the potential to be stronger than her, but she was not stronger yet.
However, although she was powerful there were dangerous demons off trail. Most were weak but Kikyo knew better than to risk a territorial battle with the few powerful demons. However, Kikyo heard a river off trail. Unfortunately, Kikyo was rather thirsty and had no water on her.
Kikyo decided that she would not go far. She would go the river and then go back to the trail. She smiled to feel more confident and went off trail. She entered the clearing and saw the river she sought. She knelt beside the water and reached her hands into the water.
The water was warm (although it would be cold to a regular person) and Kikyo sighed in pleasure. Kikyo caught the water in her hands and brought the water to her mouth. It was then that Kikyo heard a horse. "What is a horse doing here?" Kikyo thought. Kikyo looked in the direction she heard the sound and saw a horse.
Its owner was beside it, its owner was another priestess. Kikyo was glad that it was not someone to be worried about. She continued to drink from the river. She decided that she would not disturb her.

Yuuki held her breath at the thought and feeling as if someone was watching her, she peered out of the corner of her eyes to notice another priestess looking over at her, Hmm, another priestess? This far? Alrighty then.. Yuuki stood up whiping the dirt from her hakama, and fixed her shirt, checking to see if it's tucked in all the way and pushed her hair behind her ears with her index and middle fingers. Grabbing ahold of Cho's reins and leading him over to the other priestess. She looked back to her saddle, just laying there creating a flat patch of grass benith it. The grass crunched benith Yuuki and Cho's feet, and the wind breathe as her, twirling her hair away from her back as it dances through the breeze. The river sang as the fish jumped out and splashed around. A few more steps, what do I say? What would I do? Another priestess, my home's never seen one like this, she's so beautiful, she probably has more training then me, I mean of course she does. Wow. Yuuki's heart races as she stoped Cho and her footsteps, glancing at the other priestess she began to murmur, "Uhm, hello there. My name is Yuuki Kuwada. Nice to meet you!" Her lips curled into a shy smile as she held out her hand, waiting awkwardly in a reply.

Kikyo heard the other priestess approach her. Kikyo watched her approach with caution. Although this woman did not seem dangerous Kikyo knew better than to let her guard down around strangers. The woman gave her her name, Yuuki Kuwada, and Kikyo could not help but smile at the girl when she realised how shy she was.
Kikyo dried her hands on her hakama and stood up from her kneel beside the river. She made eye-contact with the girl. She was surprised that she had to look up to make eye-contact with the tall girl. This was the tallest girl she had ever seen. The tall girl extended a hand to her, but she did not know what she meant by it.
Kikyo ignored her hand and bowed. Kikyo told her, "My name is priestess Kikyo. You may call me Kikyo. I am pleased to meet you also. I do not meet other priestesses often." Kikyo wanted to know whether or not this girl was foreign. She thought that she must be foreign to be so tall.
"You said that your name was Yuuki Kuwada? Yuuki Kuwada is a Japanese name. Are you Japanese?" A smile came across her pale lips. "Excuse me, but you are tall for a Japanese woman. Are you foreign?" Kikyo had never met a foreigner. She was excited because it was rare to meet a foreigner.

Yuuki placed her hand back at her side, and bowed back. "Uhm, yes, I guess you could say that, my mother was japaneese, but my father is foreign, I get my tallness from him but everything else from my mother." Yuuki smiled at Kikyo, "In foreign countries, when people would greet they exted their hand to eachother and shake it."
Yuuki smiled once more as she pulled up her satchel to look inside it, "Would you like some berries or fruit? I have plenty." Cho nudged her shoulder to get Yuukis attention asking for an apple. Yuuki pulled out a bright red apple and took a bite out of it handing the rest to Cho to eat. Yuuki pulled down on the reins to get Cho to bow to the other priestess then back up. "I am sorry I forgot to introduce you to my noble steed." Yuuki's voice raising in excitement. "His name is Cho, we have been best friends since my mother died and my father went away. We protect eachother. I'm suppose to be catching up with my brother soon, but I have yet to gain knowledge of his where-abouts." Yuuki smiled covered her fear as her eyes turned blank in full thought.

Kikyo thought it was strange that in foreign countries people shook the hand of other people as a greeting. Kikyo asked Yuuki, "That is strange. In Japan it is disrespectful to touch someone you do not know well." Kikyo tried to imagine shaking the hand of a stranger.
Kikyo assumed that Yuuki had been to a foreign country. She knew the greeting of a foreign country and that was enough to convince Kikyo. Although this girl would have been unremarkable to Kikyo without speaking to her, she was remarkable now that she had spoken to her.
Japan was a closed country. That meant that it was hard to enter, and hard to leave. Although Yuuki was half Japanese, she was half foreigner. It was fascinating. Yuuki offered Kikyo fruit. Kikyo was surprised that Yuuki would offer Kikyo her food.
Kikyo knew that food was hard to come by. However, Kikyo was not concerned about food because she did not eat it. As an anthroparion she did not eat. She drank water but she did not eat. Kikyo shook her head no and said, "Thank you, but no thank you. I am not hungry." Kikyo told the truth because she was never hungry.
Kikyo walked past Yuuki to Cho when Yuuki introduced Cho. Kikyo liked animals. Animals were predictable and Kikyo liked anything that was predictable. She put her hand on Cho's neck. She said to Cho, "You are a horse but your name is 'butterfly'. Your beauty is comparable to a butterfly, horse."
Kikyo looked at Yuuki and gave her a smile. "I like to walk better than I like to ride. However, I like horses. Horses are beautiful animals."
Cho snorted and smelt Kikyo. Kikyo wondered what Cho smelt. However, Kikyo did not wonder too long. She looked at Yuuki, who told Kikyo that she was supposed to meet her brother but that she did not know where her brother was. Kikyo frowned at the situation. "How can you meet your brother if you do not know where he is?"
Kikyo contemplated Yuuki. Yuuki said that her mother was dead and her father was gone. She had a horse that she considered a friend. She looked for her brother, but she didn't know where he was. This girl must have been lonely. Kikyo knew what it was like to be lonely. Kikyo was very lonely and did not even have a horse to keep her company like Yuuki did.

Yuuki's eyes gained life at Kikyo's words. She nodded at Kikyo's reply to the berries, she closed her satchel and placed it back at her side. She held onto Cho's reins thoughter as his head bobbed in excitement. "We havn't seen many people so Cho doesn't get much attention except from me." Yuuki smiled. "Would you like to ride him?" She questioned.
Thinking about Kikyo's question she sighed. "I'm not sure, I havn't met him before, so I'm still pondering about that... We arn't fully related, his mother is greek, so all I know is he should be traveling from that direction, hoping I'll run into him." Yuuki smiled to pull back her tears. She is afraid of being alone even though it's all she's ever known.
Yuuki looked down at the grass and kicked at a rock, a tear escaped from her eye and ran it's way down her cheek, and then onto the ground, feeding the grass below.

Kikyo looked at the horse. It was a tall animal, it was also a proud animal. It shook its mane and ate the grass around Kikyo and Yuuki. Kikyo looked at Yuuki and told her, "I would like to ride Cho, but I do not know how. I do not ride often." Kikyo had rode a horse once, which was when she had been fleeing from Naraku.
She sighed when she remembered Naraku chasing her with that giant shinidamuchu (soul collector). She had been surprised she had been able to ride the horse as far as she did. Kikyo looked at Cho again and smiled. Kikyo would like to learn to ride a horse before she were appeased.
Kikyo looked at Yuuki. Kikyo did not know Yuuki well, but she liked her. It had been a long time since Kikyo had talked to anyone. Kikyo didn't meet anyone on the trail but an occasional hunter or a demon. She had never thought to go off trail to find someone compatible.
"You are half-brother and sister? I do not know what a Greek is, but if he is half Greek that might be something to go on. I might be able to help you find him. I am an experienced priestess. You would not have to worry about me being a burden on you." Kikyo gave her a smile.
Kikyo did not want to leave Yuuki yet. If Kikyo left Yuuki now she did not know when she would meet someone she liked this much again.

Yuuki smiled, "Don't worry I can teach you." excidly she said. "Let me just go get the saddle!" Handing Kiyo the reins to Cho she ran back to grab her saddle. Yuuki picked up the heavy brown lwather saddle and all the cargo pack. She rushed her way back to Kikyo and Cho and placed the saddle on Cho. Tightening the girth Yuuki begins to speak. " I'm not half Greek, and my brother is half Greek, I'm half Japanese and whatever my father is, I'm not sure exactly, my mother is Japanese, you see, we have the same fahter but different mothers." She stopped and looked down. A small sigh left her lips, she finished up with Cho's saddle. "Are you ready?" She smiled.

Kikyo had not expected Yuuki to get a saddle. Kikyo tried to shout after her, but she was too far. She sighed and looked at Cho. She wondered what it was like to be a horse. To bear the burden of a saddle and a person. Kikyo watched as Yuuki attached the saddle to the horse's back.
When the saddle was attached Yuuki asked Kikyo if she was ready. Kikyo did not know whether she were ready or not. Kikyo inhaled and released her breath and looked at Yuuki, she seemed surprised at her actions. "You are a very excitable girl." Kikyo said as an observation.
"How old are you?" Kikyo asked, as she mounted the horse. Kikyo could mount the horse, but she did not know how to ride the horse to its full potential. She looked at Yuuki and expected her to tell her what to do next. She smiled at her. Kikyo was taller than Yuuki on a horse.
"What... What do I do now?" Kikyo looked at the reigns she held in her hands. How did she tell the horse to go forward? She had made the horse go forward the first time she rode when she hit it after she had mounted it. However, there must be a more polite method.
